Last Day @ the Cuc...

Rocket Science, one of the groups of shorts...Ground Round or something like that?...and Mr. Schneider Goes to Washington...wanted to do more, but needed a break...was getting to antsy in those chairs!!! Anyways, a great time for my first trip to Cucalorus, looking forward to future trips...not looking forward to paying...

Today....

Control, Shut-Eye Hotel and Weirdsville....

A great documentary today, Somay Ku....talked to Rex Miller, the director/creator a bit. Also saw RedRoad...very von Trier-like...I'll elaborate later...and Toro Bravo I think was the name of the short beforehand, very nice and interesting experimental short...and I believe that's it for today...more updates later, but I will say this...for my first Cucalorus, I am loving it, and doing as much as I can...having to pay in later years is gonna suck...

Cucalorus...

So today was my first time having been to Cucalorus...I was excited to finally be able to go, after having previous engagements the last few years...so I started out by going to the Vision showcase which I thought turned out pretty well...though I will say Jengo's was a bit smaller than I originally thought it would be...not enough leg room...anyways, I left and, after attending other obligations, headed to the party at Riverfront for a couple hours. Talked to a bunch of people and hung out, then left for Jengo's again for the midnght showing of Princess....very interesting film. Perhaps I'll write more about it and the other films I see this weekend at the festival...but it should be a pretty good festival, with plenty of great films to see...
